  • (Thanks for letting us know, Bigteddy!)

Two new episodes are set to air next month! I'm surprised we're getting more so soon! Sheep Doggy will air March 29th at 11:00 AM (EST) and Bubble Baby will air March 31st at 11:30 AM (EST) I can't find a description for them yet, but when I do, I'll edit them into this post. If you find any info, feel free to post it!

I thought Nick would really start spacing out what's left of Season 4. So far, there are only 13 episodes in that season. I stated there were 20 episodes of Season 4 somewhere, but I'm not sure where I got that from...I guess I assumed since Seasons are usually around that number. >_>; Sorry about the confusion.

Well, anyways, it's speculation time! What do you guys think these eps will be about? I think SD will be Bubble Puppy related and I'm hoping Avi is in BB. Maybe his mom is having a baby or he just became an older sibling and is learning how to cope with the change.

    Let's discuss!

    EDIT: Thanks, Big Teddy!

    Sheep Doggy!

When Farmer Joe's baby lamb wanders off the farm during a storm, Bubble Puppy becomes a sheepdog to save the day.

    Bubble Baby!

Molly is going to have a new sibling; the Guppies get excited about babies; the children go to the hospital to meet a new baby.

We're most probably going to see Molly's parents.

    • Wow, all of these new episodes have blasted in out of nowhere! I still haven't seen anything past Temple of the Lost Puppy <:O

No clue why, but I really think that the phrase 'Sheep Doggy' is something Oona would say...? (Maybe a new dog character)

Bubble Baby? All I can picture is Mr. Grouper struggling to explain to the guppies where babies come from XD.

And yes, there is still hope! I love this terrific show.

Sheep Doggy? What would the topic be for that episode?

Bubble Baby. One thing that came to mind when I saw the title is one of the guppies' mothers or Mr. Grouper's wife is having a baby.

    • I think Bubble Baby has something to do with Mr. Grouper showing pictures or videos of the Guppies when they were babies.

    • I've got a few things to say. First, my spring break is March 21-27, so I can't watch them! Total tease. Though I don't know whether to be more angry at my school or at Nickelodeon.

Second, I'm going to talk about what I think these will be about. I'll be honest, I have no idea what to think of Sheep Doggy. Bubble Baby, on the other hand, is an episode I have plenty of thoughts about. The obvious thing is that the subject of babies will definitely be the main one. What Deema said about Avi being involved doesn't sound like a bad idea. It would also be interesting to introduce a new character who's either a kid character getting a new sibling or even an adult who's pregnant (but I don't think they'll go that far).

Once each episode airs, please anybody put their thoughts/reviews on the episodes on this thread please. That way I'll at least read what they were about.

It's a girl, Emo. She has eyelashes, even though they're hard to see unless you look closely, and her hair is just really short because she's a baby.

Oh well, I can always search my DVR for them and record them when they come on again, there aren't that many episodes of Bubble Guppies and they always show reruns. Well at least that's the way it was in 2011 when I first started watching them (I started in July of that year).

    • I have to agree, Bubble Baby felt like a finale. Let's review:

First off, so glad they didn't talk about HOW babies are made.

Secondly, the songs from past episodes fit well. I enjoyed them.

Thirdly, THE SHIPPING, OH, THE SHIPPING! Gil at the beginning was hilarious and basically just let loose that he likes Molly. He accidentally said his name instead of girl, and wondered if the baby would have pink hair like Molly or blue hair like himself. Then there was one moment where I nearly squeed, but I keep control: Oona basically snuggled Nonny. I kid you not. And Nonny's reaction on his face is: What... Are you doing...? I actually had to rewind to see if that actually happened. Hope has been given to the Nonny x Oona shippers. Which is nice. Oh yeah, during the song, Oona did patty-cake with a baby Nonny. Which was adorable.

Fourthly (GOD this is takin forever), THE ENTIRE ENDING. I just loved it, and although Molly's parents weren't shown, they were indeed mentioned. In fact, when the other guppies got to the hospital, Molly's mom had, like, JUST come out of pregnancy. The baby was adorable, as shown by the pics. And the last few seconds? Baby pictures of the guppies. HO. LY. (BEEEEP). They were so cute the word cute cannot describe them anymore. But the real crowner is Nonny, with these glasses that are a little too big for him, and an awkward expression on his face. He was always like himself, it turns out. Oh, and somewhere along the line, Deema got her signature three things of hair.

Finally, I loved this episode a lot, glad I got to watch it. Can't wait to see what comes next.

    • I am wondering when the last episode of Bubble Guppies is coming. It seems like this show will never end (but I know deep in my mind it will). I think they'll run out of ideas and something else comes up, things I don't think will be the talk of the episode come along!

I wold like to see the Guppie's parents. And now I wonder what Mia will be like if she appears in future episodes.

It was also nice to see the Guppies as babies at the end. That was one of the things I wondered about (what the guppies were like as babies) and now that's been satisfied. And I too noticed the glasses.

Again, I would like to see the future versions of the guppies (teens and or grown ups) and human versions of them.

And the shipping, I think I'm down with MollyXGil, DeemaXGoby, and OonaXNonny. I think I'm more okay with that than other shippings, although sometimes I think of DeemaXNonny and OonaXGoby, well rarely if ever. I don't know what my shipping choice would be so I'm going with MollyXGil, DeemaXGoby, and OonaXNonny like others have.

By the way, how about those parts where Gil tried to feed baby Goby? (Me laughing!)

This is not a finale, more episodes are coming! :)

I don't how many, but I'm wishing many, many more! ;)

Bubble Baby was the last episode in production it was Episode #414. But there are still more episodes coming.

      Guppy Style Episode #404-405

The Summer Camp Games Episode #413

Trick Or Treat, Mr. Grumpfish Episode #412

Wait a minute...so does that mean The Summer Camp Games will be the finale?

    • Lol. The mark of a true shipper. But seriously it's like probably my favourite moment of season 4. Maybe the entire series, heck! Now, someone get Jet (Nonny's voice nowadays for those just in case who don't know) to get a line with Oona in it. And then... THE FANDOM GOES NUTS. Well the shippers mostly but THE FANDOM GOES NUTS ANYWAYS. (I may or may not also be a shipper with all 3 main pairs. May or may not. okay maybe i am.) Although Emo uploaded a pic with a closer look at that moment. please let there be more moments like this. Also, did you notice Oona's right hand on Nonny's chin... I... I just... Must keep control must keep control must keep control

Oh boy, that's a real shame. One of the things I was anticipating in Bubble Baby was seeing her parents in a physical appearance. Oh well, maybe sometime in the future. Though, on the other hand, people can just draw fanart of their parents.

Very true. I guess we'll have to wait... Since season four is nearing towards about 15-20 episodes, maybe 25-30, the season may be coming to a close....if not, the entire series. So I'm sure we'll see them sometime in the future,

Again, There's 14 episodes for Season 4. That's what Nickelodeon ordered. Now that Guppy Style has aired, there are two more episodes remaining. The Summer Camp Games which will air this summer and Trick or Treat, Mr. Grumpfish which will air this October.

Guys, Teddy is right: Bubble Baby was the last episode produced. (I suppose that explains why the episode ended that way it did with the baby pics and soft playing music.) Anything airs after that was produced before it. Nick loves to air the show out of order.

While I'm posting here: I do admit I was a little disappointed we didn't get to actually see Molly's parents...and that Mia looked a lot like Molly. xD I know siblings tend to look similar to each other, but...I wanted to see s'more differences that would at least give us an idea of what physical traits each parent has. >_>; I loved the tone towards the end when Molly told Mia she loved her; it felt very genuine. ^u^ I forgot what show I was watching for a second. x)

This is no consolation but I knew this show would end sooner or later, it was only a matter of when?

I do feel bad for all of you who are real big fans of Bubble Guppies. It was hard on me when I learned Phineas and Ferb ended.

Well, at least Bubble Guppies did a train episode like I hoped they would ("Triple Track Train Race") and I'm more thankful they included this.

      Triple-Track Train Race.mkv snapshot 00.44 -2013.01.30 13.14.00-

      Crossing gate signal

And not every cartoon or every train-related book, TV episode or movie part with trains includes this, which can be disappointing and sometimes frustrating (to me.)

I don't know, maybe they ran out of ideas for the show, or don't plan to talk about anything else.

What would you have wanted to see on Bubble Guppies?

I know what I would have wanted to see: more guppies. Well, at least we got to see Stylee and Molly's sister Mia.

Would have also been nice to see human versions of the Bubble Guppies and more grown-up versions of the Bubble Guppies. (Keep dreaming, William!)

    • I haven't seen Sheep Doggy since it's first air date. Luckily I was able to come it today, so I'll review it here.

-I like the design of Scout. She's very cute. The design of Woolie and the rest of the sheep were nice too. I don't think we've seen sheep on this show before.

-The visuals of the pop song are similar to "Have A Cow" with a little bit of "Fruit Camp" mixed in. I do like the clever little American Gothic reference that Deema and Gil did. As for the song itself, I like it. It's very upbeat and has a lot of energy to it.

-The shop segment was pretty standard so I don't really have much to say about this. However, when Oona collected the rest of her eggs, I think Deema might've called her "chicky-poo" or something like that.

-The lunch joke was pretty bad. It's just like those early season 2 macaroni and cheese lunch jokes that were not funny.

-The classroom segment wasn't that bad. It did contain Mr. Grouper as a cow just like Have A Cow, but it did take a more creative approach by having Gil dressing and acting like a sheep and having Bubble Puppy "herd" him.

-The storybook segment is pretty standard. The only thing that really stood out about it was the "Old MacNonny" costume and the fact that Deema narrated it. The "Old MacNonny had a farm" running gag was also enjoyable.

-The dance song was also very upbeat. The lyrics aren't incredibly catchy, but they're still nice to listen to.

-The ending was by far the best part of this episode. It was a nice day and then a storm came in like a millisecond. When the wind blew off Nonny's hat and Goby caught it and put it back on his head was a nice little touch. The popcorn literally raining down was a pretty nice visual. Both Bubble Puppy and Scout were really brave and it was very smart of BP to use a trail to help Scout bring Woolie back.

If I gotta be honest, this episode felt like a rehash. What I mean is it felt a little too similar to "Have A Cow". I mentioned the pop song, but everything else was straight out of Have A Cow, even the "thinking about it" segment. The only part that didn't feel like a rehash was the ending. So despite the fact that this episode is essentially a sequel to Have A Cow, I still kind of like it. The songs and the climax were worth the watch.

    • Ok, I'm going to review Bubble Baby since I rewatched it recently.

-The opening segment with Gil acting like a baby was simply adorable and it really set the tone for this episode. Of course him saying "goo goo gaga" and "baba" was a nice touch.

-Gil's reaction to the news of Molly being a big sister was really funny.

-The new pop song was pretty good. Again, I'm more impressed with the visuals than the song itself. Then again, who can resist baby guppies?!

-I think it's interesting this episode took the same approach as "Good Morning Mr. Grumpfish" by having pop songs from previous episodes. They all surprisingly fit very well.

      - "Baby oysters are called spats". That was one of the comedic highlights of this episode. The fact that it was so random and everybody's reaction made it so funny. It definitely got a laugh out of me.

-Being a fangirl of Oona X Nonny, I loved the moment where Oona cuddled Nonny. I love it so much that I downloaded it and it's currently the screensaver on my phone.

-I have to admit that I'm still a little disappointed that we don't see Molly's parents in this. However, despite that, there's still potential for fanfiction and fanart.

-Baby Mia is the cutest thing! The baby sound effects they had for were really well done, both laughing and crying. She's very lucky to have a new big sister like Molls.

-The icing on the cake was the end when they showed the guppies as babies. They all looked adorable, but the ones who really stood out were Nonny and Goby. In terms of which of those two was the cutest, I'd say Goby. It's kind of ironic I say that because Goby's actually my least favorite of the guppies, but man does he make a cute baby.

    • Unfortunately, as much as I love Bubble Baby, I have a complaint. It does not ruin the episode, but it is something that needs to be addressed. I don't really like the way Nonny was so deadpan, dull, and emotionless in this episode. Look, I get that it's part of his character, and like I said before it does not make me like him any less. However, I still think he should've smiled in this episode. When the other guppies waved and said goodbye to Molly when she went to the hospital, the way Nonny waved looked really careless to me. I think he should've at least said goodbye. There's also the bigger issue I have with Nonny in this episode. He did not have one hint of an emotional reaction to seeing baby Mia. When everyone said "a baby girl", he said it with his blank expression. And when Molly was holding her, the camera showed Deema and Oona looking at Mia with big smiles. How did Nonny look at her? Blank expression! I'm sorry, but that's not Nonny's best portrayal.

Final verdict: This was an adorable episode and a wonderful way to end this series. Sure, it's not a standard episode, but I don't think it was meant to be. Yes, I've complained about Nonny, but that's just a nitpick and he's still and always will be my favorite. There's much more good in it than bad. Would I watch it again? Absolutely. So check this episode out if you haven't already. You won't regret it.

I haven't watched the episode "Bubble Baby!" yet, but there are other episodes where he's like that too, and it bothers me as well. An example I thought of was toward the end of A Dolphin Is A Guppy's Best Friend. When everyone looks happy and excited for Buddy at his surprise birthday party, Nonny just looks so careless, like he'd rather be somewhere else than wish a little dolphin a happy birthday. Even MR. GRUMPFISH had a smile on his face!!

I'm sorry. I know being dull and expressionless is part of who Nonny is, but sometimes that's just not quite appropriate, especially during moments that are meant to be happiest moments.

I don't hate Nonny. I just wish he didn't look like he's too afraid to show a smile...

    • We're down to one last episode.

      How time flies...

Also, saw The Summer Camp Games. Pretty good, although the logic in it was weird. At the first class segment, Mr. Grouper takes them all outside because it's summer. I was like, alright, cool! The song and shop and lunch go by, then they say they're going on a nature walk.

Me: oh, cool we're going to see some underwater anim- WHAT ARE YOU DOING INSIDE THIS IS SUMMER WHY ARE YOU INSIDE

And why are they even at the school? Yeah, I know summer school exists, but it's even in the song, no school!

Anyways, on to the end. The guppies are pretty good archers, turns out. Oh, and the entire ending could've been avoided if Bubble Puppy just jumped in Gil's canoe. But no they needed tension.

Oh, yeah, Deema and Goby hugged at the end of the challenge, Nonny and Oona did that tail slap thing, Molly and Gil high-fived.

Is it just me, or is MollyxGil not getting focused on anymore? I mean, when was the last time we heard Molly say Gilly instead of Gil?

Yeah, that's all. Now to wait until we all go down in flame- I mean, watch Happy Halloween Mr. Grumpfish. Sigh.
